OK, I’m going to try and front load this post with about 140 characters so as not to potentially spoil anything for folks who have not yet watched the mid-season finale for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. this past Tuesday.
OK, think we’re safe now. Anyway, while the phrase “Inhumans” was not explicitly mentioned by name in S.H.I.E.L.D. this season, it is very strongly implied. And the rise of the Inhumans, a super-powered species that derives its powers after exposure to a mutagen known as the “Terrigen Mist,” should come as no surprise to anyone who has been following the silent drama between Marvel Studios and Fox, who own the X-Men universe and the term “mutant” However, I get the sense that there are still a lot of folks out there who are unfamiliar with the Inhumans, so over at ComicBook.com I outline five things you should know about them and their comics so you’re at least a little bit more in the know.
